B. Pharm or Bachelor of Pharmacy is a 4-year undergraduate degree that is pursued by candidates who are interested in building a
career in the domain of Pharmacy. Whenever a cure for a disease is found, B Pharma graduates have a really big role in researching
and testing it before it is available for treatment.
First Year B. Pharm- A pass in any of the following examinations-
i. Candidate shall have passed 10+2 examination conducted by the respective state/ central government authorities recognized as
equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of the Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subject and Physics, Chemistry,
Mathematics/ Biology as optional subjects individually. However, the student’s possessing10+2 qualification from Non- formal and
Non- class rooms based schooling such as National Institute of Open Schooling, Open School Systems of states etc shall not be eligible
for admission to B. Pharm Course.
ii. Any other qualification approved by Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.
Provided that a student should complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of the admission to the course.
B. Pharm Lateral Entry (Directly to 2nd year or 3rd Semester): A student passes in D. Pharm course from an Institution
approved by Pharmacy Council of India under Section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.
INTAKE CAPACITY:
i. Bachelor in Pharmacy (B. Pharm) 4 years course- 60 seats.
ii. Bachelor in Pharmacy (B. Pharm lateral entry) 3 years course after completion of D. Pharm from a PCI recognized Institution- 10% of approved intake capacity.
